Local Forums
During the legislative session (January to May), legislators host public forums or town hall meetings back in their districts on Fridays and Saturdays to give the people they represent a chance to be heard.
They are usually very informal, you can ask questions, and there is usually time before and after for one-on-one conversations.
These are excellent times to make contact with your legislators. During session, a list of these forums will appear to the left.
Periodically, legislators, the Governor, and Iowa's Congressional delegation host local town hall meetings outside the legislative session. We will post these as they become available, so check back if you don't seen any right now.
